Oh man, yessss. Brendon/Ryan can be a surprisingly antagonistic relationship at times! It's codependent in a different way from Ryan/Spencer, the way they can't quite stop pushing each other's buttons. Unlike Ryan/Spencer, where Spencer is the Obvious Caretaker -- which I also enjoy!
