I have decided that my day off (which feels like the first day off I've had in a long, long time, even though that's completely not true) will be a day of eating! On Wednesday (Tuesday?) night I bought an avocado from the supermarket and it wasn't ripe yet, and I waited for days and days. This morning it was perfectly ripe. I had an avocado and cheese sandwich for breakfast. (My mother looked briefly concerned for a while. "Avocado and cheese? Is that nice?") OH MY GOD BEST BREAKFAST EVER YOU GUYS. I really like avocados!

I'm making this tomato sauce for lunch. Right now I can smell something which smells like bacon (but which probably is not bacon) cooking in the kitchen. After I post this I'll probably get up and check.

& lastly, I have discovered the Percy Jackson series. They're kind of a fun read, you guys! Not as good as Harry Potter, but then again, it's Harry Potter we're talking about. (I have never read Lord of the Rings. You may all gasp and draw back in horror now.) Actually, they're not really very well written, but they're really fun (Greek gods! Maladjusted kids! A quest to retrieve Zeus' thunderbolt!) and [livejournal.com profile] strange_bt_true sent me the PDFs, so. Basically I just want one million AUs of this series. Ryan (when is it ever not Ryan) the maladjusted kid with a crappy home situation this close to being expelled from his latest prep school, who always gets into trouble around water, and also Spencer the satyr who's been assigned to Ryan for his protection. Think about that. No really, think about that.

Oh my god, avacado and cheese is the BEST EVER. You know what you should try? Avacado and cheese and onion in a TOASTED SANDWICH. With Tabasco. Oh my godddd, I just ate lunch and I'm hungry just thinking about it.

I've never head of Percy Jackson, but Greek gods sound automatically awesome! Hey, wait, no, isn't there a Percy Jackson movie out? Something about lightning?

... why I consistently spelled avocado wrong there, I couldn't tell you. But it's funner to say AVA-cado, I think.

... why I didn't even notice, I don't know either! Ava-cado, avocado. Do you say toMAYto or toMAHto?

I say toMAHto! But I think I say both variations of avocado. HMMN. What about you?

I say toMAHto too! And strictly avocado. Now I will be trying out that alternate version in my head all day long. :D:

Onion?? You scare me! I am afraid of raw onions! ... maybe I will try it. FOOD FOOD FOOD. I actually really miss cooking.

DUDE YES THAT IS THE ONE. They are such a fun series! (I could hook you up, if you wanted. Just say the word. *waggles eyebrows*)

No, but the onion gets cooked in the toasted sandwich! A little bit, anyway. Close enough. IT'S GOOD.

THE WORD, yes please! :D
