The thing about figure skating is that you're certain to have bad days.
( They'd been sharing the same rink for a month or so, ever since the USFSA had decided to sponsor Johnny's move to L.A. where he could get better support and had screwed up by not thinking about who else was in Los Angeles and might conceivably have many good reasons for not wanting to see Johnny Weir's face. )
