The best part is when they start working on a song and then it sort of diverges into two song and eventually it's just both of them, working on different things side by side, and eventually they play their own creations to each other and go, at the same time, "I like yours better."
BUT because they are music geeks, Patrick'd go, "Still, you could sort of transpose that part..." and make a complicated hand motion and Brendon'd be all, "Yeah, yeah," and nod earnestly because he totally gets what Patrick's saying.
