Oh, I like Adam too! I just don't know enough about him to find him an interesting character per se, whereas I can barely talk about Mirai without making high-pitched noises or saying, "I love her so much," every ten seconds.

It's funny because I don't even normally stan on women skaters, it's always the men (Johnny, Evan (sometimes), Stephane, Adam, Jeremy). And even when I stan on the men, there is always a slashy subtext that I am going for. With Mirai, I just adore her for her. Because she is little and sweet and precious and delightful. ♥

BASICALLY THIS IS WHAT I FEEL. I just want so much gen fic where she saves the world/wins gold medals/turns into a boy/gets followed around by a kitsune/visits Japan/is the most awesome person ever! GODDAMN INTERNET IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK.
