Is that the name you're meant to have? for me to call.
Monday, 19 July 2010 23:12Man, that Mirai Nagasu, I just don't know. I keep thinking about her and randomly going, "Oh yeah, she's awesome," and then I think about it some more and I'm like, "Holy SHIT, she is so awesome," and the preceding sentence should be enough to tell you that generally I get reduced to incoherence when I think about her too much. It is too much for me, I am as overcome as Stephane Lambiel!!!
willowbell linked me to this old video (embedding disabled) a couple of days ago. She had to miss school for skating - Junior Ladies and she *shrug* won! What she likes about Arcadia: education and peacocks! She wants to study Japanese so she can go back and tell the Japanese broadcasters she fixed her Japanese! (Ha-ha, so there.) I DON'T KNOW. There is just this overwhelming feeling in my heart for her. ♥_______________♥
(Lololol this just occurred to me: because Mirai lives in Arcadia, obviously this means that my brain has to recast her in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia as Thomasina, whom I love also, and it totally kind of fits, what with Thomasina being a girl genius, except that a) SPOILERS HIGHLIGHT TO READ she dies in the end and b) who would even be Septimus Hodge? Yeah, my brain kind of stops there. Not going to write that AU, I guess.)
I'm actually kind of writing Mirai/Caroline Zhang. It's kind of nerve-wracking for a number of reasons, I won't lie. Mostly I just feel like I'm writing the same story over and over again. /o\
