So I was having a terrible night, and then I remembered that willowbell linked to this one video that I couldn't watch earlier in the day because I was at work, and --

And, jeez, how does this guy even do it? I am feeling a lot more at peace right now. Also craving the fuck out of a Stéphane Lambiel: The Early Years fic, although I'm well aware that it would be mostly "blah blah blah, I was a middle child and I loved skating and especially the spins". I don't know. I just have such an interest in the way people were as kids and how they grew into the people they are now.

Also, his eyebrows.

It is! Oh boy yes, can he skate.

RIGHT?? Apparently, Stephane's parents were a little taken aback when he said he wanted to skate, because it isn't a very masculine thing (lol understatement) to do, but now they are pretty awesome! (I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT VIDEO OF STEPHANE CRYING INTO HIS FATHER'S SHOULDER EXISTS. Unfortunately I have not been able to find this.)

The crying bit starts at 1.00 and IT IS ADORABLE. There's this bit when it cuts to his mum and he lets out this little wail in the background. I find him so unbearably cute /o\ NOW THOSE ARE SOME AWESOME PARENTS RIGHT THERE.
