-- Huh, so. Normally historical episodes are this hugely self-indulgent thing for me? Like, I LOVE historical episodes! But I just feel really aware of the shabbiness of them too, and I don't mean this in a bad way, just, well -- aliens and history at the same time stretch my suspension of disbelief a little too much. Which ahahaha oh self.

-- I get squicked by vampires so easily, oh my god. Blood! Neck! ARGH OH GOD GET THIS THING AWAY.

-- OH MY GOD CAN THEY KEEP RORY FOREVER BECAUSE I LOVE HIM.

-- Amy and her boys! ♥

-- Next week, you couldn't come sooner. !!!

I watched this episode with my mother, and then I gave her my Mother's Day present. I feel a Little Bit smug at how much she liked it. Happy Mother's Day to the mums on my flist! ♥

RIGHT?? Idk, I get the idea that this season is consciously reworking a lot of the tropes we've seen so far in the show -- useless boyfriend turns out to be pretty awesome, and older villainous woman is morally ambiguous and shit! I mean, I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's hell of a lot more interesting than it used to be.

PICTURE. PICTURE ON HIS T-SHIRT. ♥

(Also, dude, I am going to reply to yr music comment later, because work now and I do not have the proper music files! But <333)

So, so true! I love all the moral ambiguity/greyness that's been going on.

AND GUIDO WORE IT! \o/ I might have to find a Rory icon.

(Dude, no worries! I'm used to LJ convos that span over work and RL and different timezones!)
