Okay, well - Perks of Being a Wallflower and What Happened to Lani Garver? (by Stephen Chbosky and Carol Plum-Ucci, respectively) are perhaps my two favourite teen fiction books, if not favourite books in general. More teen fiction: books by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, both together and separately. I also just finished reading a book called Prep which I found kind of fascinating - it's about this elite boarding school in the US. Also, The Secret History isn't teen fiction, but it had the same sort of feel as Prep - there's this sense that it's real literature, I guess.
I also think it's necessary, if you haven't already, to read Neil Gaiman and Chuck Palahniuk...something by each of them. They're kind of awesome.
Um....I can't think of anything else right now. Unless you're into comics at all; that's an entirely different list.
