Oh, that is interesting! I think for me, it's because I tend to have endings which cut away to another scene completely? So I don't have to deal with any of the structural problems with sadly dog the beginning and middle of the fic, most of my endings tend to be something of a "MOVING AWAY AND PAST ALL OF THAT" kind of thing for me! Like, okay self, so maybe the middle is fucked but this story could still be great. One more scene to prove it!! Yeah!
