What if bb!Spencer was blind and Ryan was super protective of him and when Brendon comes along Ryan is stand-offish at first because new people are always weird around Spencer and Ryan doesn't want him to be hurt because it's hard enough for him already a lot of the time. But of course then Brendon turns out to be awesome and Ryan notices Brendon's giant crush on Spencer and he doesn't even know who exactly to be jealous of in that situation. And maybe he catches himself thinking how lucky it is that Spencer can't see the giant cow eyes Brendon keeps making at him and how hot Brendon is and Ryan hates himself a little for even thinking like that.
